"Since everything is on the Internet, I dont need books....right?"
Responding to that statement, I believe that this is false. Not everything on the internet is true. For example, on Wikipedia it does not cite who stated the text. It could be anyone that could change the text into false information. A good site should consist a person who is professional about that certain topic. I know that internet is not the only resourse when finding information. Internet is the easiest and quickest way to use to grab out information.
We need books because books actually provide factual information that was published from professionals. Books can actually help us learn definitions better than from the internet. Without books, all the information on the internet would not even be posted and shared to the people who are browsing for facts and informations online because books educate the person who is posting up the information on the internet. In America, most people are lazy and try to take "short cuts" because any information you need is just a click away but may not be true, but books take patience and a long process browsing through a book for information because books are rarely to have false statements.
Books also goes through revision, constantly being perfected but it is the opposite of the internet. The internet is not revised because one can copy and paste information that they have found on a site. The internet is also like a diary. It's only the author's opinion, which may not be factual. The author might think their idea is correct but in reality, they are false.
